Booking Conditions
Booking
To make a booking you must be over 18 and satisfy yourself that you are in sufficient good health in order to attend and enjoy the tour booked.
The person making the booking (the lead name) accepts these booking conditions on behalf of everyone in their party.
Payment
Deposit and payment of balance
At time of booking or 60 days or more prior to departure, whichever is later a non-refundable deposit of £150 per person per tour or 20% of the total tour cost per person whichever is greater.
Full payment is required if travel is less than within 60 days of booking and full payment is required no less than 60 days before departure.
It is the client's responsibility to be aware of and to make provision for all relevant bank charges when paying both the deposit and the remaining balance.
If payment is not made by the due date the booking will be cancelled and the deposit forfeited.
Validity of prices
Dynamic Earth Adventures reserves the right to impose surcharges at any time in the event of sudden and unfavourable currency changes, new government regulations, natural forces or increases in transport costs or taxes.
Cancellations made by the client
All cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by Dynamic Earth Adventures. The following cancellation charges are expressed as a percentage of the total tour price paid to Dynamic Earth Adventures excluding insurance premiums.
Cancellation 60 days or more before departure: loss of deposit.
Cancellation 59 – 30 days before departure: 50% cost of services booked.
Cancellation less than 30 days before departure or no-show without notice: 100% of cost of services booked.
Flexibility, Changes and Cancellations made by Dynamic Earth Adventures
The client acknowledges and accepts that the nature of this type of travel requires considerable flexibility and should allow for alternatives. The itinerary provided for each tour is merely representative of the types of activities contemplated, and Dynamic Earth Adventures is under no contractual obligation to strictly follow it. It is understood that the route, schedules, itineraries, amenities and modes of transport may be subject to alteration without prior notice due to local circumstances or events, which may include (but are not limited to) sickness or mechanical breakdown, flight cancellations, strikes, events emanating from political disputes, entry or border difficulties, climate and other unpredictable or unforeseeable circumstances.
Dynamic Earth Adventures will endeavor to operate all tours as described but reserve the right to change any of the facilities, services or itineraries described where and when deemed necessary or advisable by Dynamic Earth Adventures subject to, where possible, giving the client written notice.
Dynamic Earth Adventures will not be liable for any cancellations, changes or postponements of the tour or any part thereafter due to circumstances beyond its control including (but not limited to) consolidation, force majeure, war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, health epidemics, natural or nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions, natural or environmental disaster or other similar events beyond Dynamic Earth Adventures control and that of their suppliers.
Travel Documentation
In order to travel the client must be in possession of a valid passport required for entry, travel through and departure from each destination along the itinerary of the tour (all passports must be valid for at least 6 months past your return date), all visas, permits and certificates including vaccination certificates and insurance policies required for the whole of the journey.
The client accepts full responsibility for obtaining all such documents prior to the start of the tour and is solely responsible for any adverse consequences resulting from missing or defective documentation. Any information or advice given by the company regarding visas, vaccinations, climate, clothing, baggage, special equipment etc is purely advisory and provided as a courtesy to the client, and the company is not responsible for any errors or omissions in the information provided.
In order to remain in keeping with the companies ethics and commitment to the environment all tour related travel documentation such as vouchers, itineraries and invoices will be sent via email once full payment has been received by the company.
It is the client’s responsibility to check their email contact with the company at least 72 hours prior to start of tour to ensure the client is in possession of any minor changes that have had to be made since the company originally provided travel documentation.
Liability
The client acknowledges and accepts that the nature of the tour is adventurous and may involve a significant amount of personal risk.
The client hereby assumes all such risk and does hereby release Dynamic Earth Adventures from all claims and causes of action arising from any damages or injuries or death resulting from these inherent risks.
All clients are advised to ensure they have sufficient and comprehensive travel and health insurance prior to the commencement of the tour.
Insurance
The client acknowledges and accepts all responsibility in arranging comprehensive personal travel and health insurance prior to commencement of the tour.
Local conditions
The client acknowledges and accepts that the tour will visit locations where cultural, geographical and political attributes present certain risk, dangers and physical challengers greater than those present in our daily lives. By booking with Dynamic Earth Adventures the client acknowledges and accepts that he/she has considered potential risks, dangers and challenges. The client is solely responsible for ensuring he/she is acquainted with the customs, weather conditions, physical challenges and laws in effect.
Accuracy
As far as Dynamic Earth Adventures is aware all information supplied on this website and in brochures is correct at the time of publication.
Complaints
If a client has a complaint against Dynamic Earth Adventures they must first inform the tour leader so that he/she can endeavour to rectify the situation. If satisfaction is not reached then any further complaint must be put in writing to Dynamic Earth Adventures within 28 days after the tour end. Dynamic Earth Adventures will accept no liability for claims received after this period.
